Calendar Highlights 2026—2027 School Year

Calendar Highlights 2026—2027 School Year

Families are asked to use this calendar to plan their vacations and to refrain from planning travel outside of school breaks. Missing class is disruptive to student learning; students who miss 12 school days, excluding school-supported trips and events, may be placed on Attendance Probation, which shall remain in effect for the remainder of the school year. Students on Academic Probation who fail to provide medical documentation that is dated and provided within 48 hours of subsequent absence date(s) shall not be permitted to make up any projects, tests, and/or quizzes missed during said absence date(s) and will receive a grade of 0 on those assessments and assignments.

Students are required to sit for semester exams at the time which they are given, else they will earn a grade of 0 on the missed semester exam. Make-ups will only be granted to students whose absence is required to attend a family funeral or whose absence is documented by the necessity of an in-person doctor’s visit on the day of the first missed exam, and which confirms any subsequent days for which the student is not cleared to attend school. Absence due to travel will not be considered an acceptable excuse for students to make up a missed exam; students will earn a grade of 0 in this case.
