Faculty and Staff Pilgrimage to Spain and Italy

7 of our faculty and staff members took part in a pilgrimage to Spain & Italy, where they spent 10 days following the life and transformation of Saint Ignatius.

Throughout their journey, they visited many of the important locations in Saint Ignatius's life, some of which include Loyola Castle, where he was born, the Statue of the Black Madonna at Montserrat, where he laid down his sword, and the Manresa Cave, where he experienced his spiritual conversion. Together, these sites offered a glimpse into the life of Saint Ignatius and further explored the meaning behind the work we do as a Jesuit Institution.

We would like to note that this pilgrimage for the faculty, staff, and administration of Scranton Preparatory School was made possible only through the extraordinary generosity of two members of our Board of Trustees, whose support provided this meaningful opportunity for faith, reflection, and community.
