Students Visit Marywood University for Female Artist Day

Senior and junior art students had the opportunity to visit Marywood University on Monday to participate in Female Artist Day. Accompanied by Ms. Million and Mr. Kuratnick, students engaged with a panel of local female artists, learning about their experiences as women in the arts and other creative fields. Panelists also shared their personal backgrounds, career experiences, and the female artists who inspire them.

Students also toured the Insalaco Center for Studio Arts, where they met several of the art faculty members.

Experiences like these offer students a meaningful look into the arts while encouraging them to reflect on their own paths as artists. We are grateful to Marywood University and the panelists for sharing their stories with our students.
