- (Optional) Apply for Financial Aid (via FACTS) by December 1, 2025
- 6th-8th grade Report Cards and Teacher Evaluation Forms are due in the admissions portal by January 20, 2026.

Free Exam Tutoring
Prep’s National Honor Society provides a free six-week tutoring program from October-December for the HSPT exam and optional essay.
Week 1: Exam Overview and Test Skills

Free Exam Tutoring
Entrance Exam
The required Scholarship Entrance Exam helps gauge a student’s aptitude and preparedness for the rigor of Scranton Preparatory School and consists of the High School Placement Test (HSPT) five subtests in Vocabulary, Quantitative, Reading, Math and Language plus an optional essay required for scholarship consideration. Monthly makeup exams offered.We offer partial exam scholarships to the top 35 scores on the exam. This award is separate from the financial aid application process.
Entrance Exam
Interview and Decisions
Upon receiving all required application materials and successful exam scores, Scranton Prep will request that you schedule an interview with one of our admissions counselors during January - March. This is a great opportunity to learn more about Prep and get all of your questions answered.
Final admissions and financial aid decision letters will be sent out after the interview.

Transfer Students
Transfers into 10th and 11th grade are processed for fall enrollment.
Applicants should submit an inquiry form & application via the admissions portal.
All high school transcripts are due no later than June 30th for review.
