Scranton Prep Alumni Board and Alumni Ambassador Programs
The Scranton Prep Alumni Board serves the Prep community by identifying and involving alumni in areas such as student recruitment, career networking and current student mentorships. Those named to the Alumni Board also serve as ambassadors for Scranton Prep in our community, advocating for the school and student body through spiritual, physical and financial support. The role of an Alumni Ambassador consists of the following:

One Annual Appeal to your classmates
- Update our office of any exciting events going on in your classmates’ lives
- Assist us with accurate record keeping of your classmates
- Future reunion year planning

Health Interest Signature Program
Dr. David Blazes ’87, has funded a Signature Program here at Scranton Prep. The goal of this Health Interest Program is to provide the Scranton Prep community with opportunities to increase awareness of careers in health care and gain experiences that may help them be successful in pursuing these careers. Prep can also benefit from opportunities that broaden the students’ experiences in the health field, which they can bring back to the classroom. Because of Dr. Blazes’ generosity, we are able to give each student a stipend to aid them in paying for their programs. If your son or daughter has an academic or practical program related to health studies that he or she is interested in attending this school year, please reach out to me at the Alumni Office. If the program meets certain criteria, we will be able to grant your student expense money from this restricted fund.
